About the Role: As a trusted advisor and performance partner, you will help drive organizational performance through effective people strategies. You will work closely with leaders across multiple functions to support employee relations, talent development, leadership coaching, workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives. You will have the opportunity to influence key business decisions while helping DeLaval build a high-performing, engaged workforce capable of supporting our long-term growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including business partnering responsibilities.
  • Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and influence leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to travel 10%

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and organizational development.
  • Support workforce planning and organizational design initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
  • Assist leaders in addressing performance management, conflict resolution, and employee engagement challenges.
  • Promote fair, consistent, and legally compliant employment practices.
  • Facilitate talent review and succession planning discussions.
  • Support the identification and development of high-potential talent.
  • Partner with leaders to create meaningful development plans for employees and future leaders.
  • Lead and support change management initiatives.
  • Use workforce metrics and HR analytics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Recommend solutions that strengthen organizational effectiveness and business performance.
  • Partner with hiring managers on recruiting strategies and candidate selection.
  • Support hiring efforts for professional, technical, and leadership positions.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate and onboarding experience.
