About The Position

Serves as a strategic HR partner to management and employees by delivering a broad range of human resources support and guidance. Collaborates with managers to support talent acquisition, employee coaching and development, employee relations, compensation administration, learning and development initiatives, and benefits programs while aligning HR practices with organizational goals and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources preferred.
  • PHR / SHRM-CP Certification preferred.
  • 5 or more years of experience in Human Resources including: experience managing benefits, employee/labor relations, training, recruitment, and HR Program administration.
  • HR Experience in the aviation, cargo industry, or similar regulated environment highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and manage complex employee relations issues.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (UKG preferred).
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR / SHRM-CP Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders and managers to understand business priorities and develop HR strategies that support operational goals.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational design, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop workforce planning strategies and staffing needs.
  • Provide guidance on recruitment strategies, candidate evaluation, and compliant interview practices.
  • Partner with recruiting resources to ensure timely hiring and effective candidate experience.
  • Support onboarding/recruiting processes and lead new employee orientation.
  • Serve as the primary HR advisor for employee relations matters including conflict resolution, performance issues, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
  • Conduct investigations into employee concerns or complaints and ensure appropriate resolution.
  • Support the administration of corrective actions and ensure consistency across departments.
  • Facilitate new hire check-ins and exit interviews and analyze trends to inform leadership.
  • Provide guidance and assist employees and managers regarding benefits eligibility and leave programs including FMLA, TDI, STD, and LTD.
  • Support unemployment claims management and represent the organization during hearings when required.
  • Participate in HR initiatives and projects designed to improve HR service delivery and departmental efficiency.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports to support decision making and operational planning.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company programs that promote a positive workplace culture.
