About The Position

As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for HR operations and people management, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle. This includes managing contracts, certificates, and recurring employer obligations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and management, addressing conflicts, exit situations, and complex people-related cases. The role also involves managing recurring staffing needs, particularly for support and operations roles, through a standardized recruiting process. You will conduct interviews, guide hiring managers, and ensure a positive candidate experience. Additionally, you will leverage insights from recruiting, onboarding, turnover, and exit interviews to continuously improve HR processes. A key aspect of this role is system ownership for Personio, where you will not only use the system but also configure, structure, and develop it independently. You will ensure that processes, data, responsibilities, and workflows are mapped within the system and contribute to the development of our HR Operating System and Knowledge Base from real-world cases. You will approach HR not as an end in itself, but by first understanding the business problem it solves. You will understand the diverse working realities of operations, sales, tech, and management, and be able to translate effectively between these areas, distinguishing between equal treatment and fair treatment, recognizing that different requirements may necessitate different solutions.

  • Experience independently managing recruiting processes, conducting interviews, and collaborating closely with hiring managers.
  • Thinking in terms of processes, standards, and automation, with a desire to integrate AI and digital tools.
  • Experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment with high speed, limited resources, incomplete structures, and potentially changing priorities.
  • Taking end-to-end responsibility for HR topics.
  • Maintaining calmness, professionalism, and empathy in conflicts, exit situations, and personal matters.
  • Balancing closeness to people with professional distance.
  • Willingness to handle administrative tasks, clarify legal questions, and build associated processes.
  • Ability to credibly communicate with employees in Operations, Sales, Tech, and management.
