About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our operations in the oil & gas sector. This role partners closely with leaders across field operations, engineering, and corporate functions to drive people strategies that strengthen performance, safety, and organizational capability. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and is passionate about building a strong, safety-driven culture.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of HR experience, in positions leading up to HRBP level.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand technical/operational workflows.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and workforce analytics.
  • Solid understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong expertise in employee relations and in-depth knowledge of employment laws, ensuring consistent and compliant workplace practices
  • Ability to conduct investigations, address performance issues and disciplinary action with fairness and discretion
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience supporting field operations, remote sites, or rotational workforce environments is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with operational and business goals.
  • Provide data-driven insights on workforce trends, talent risks, and organizational health.
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, and capability development.
  • Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and competency development for technical and field teams.
  • Identify skill gaps and collaborate with L&D to deliver targeted training.
  • Support leadership development programs tailored to operational environments.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct investigations and guide corrective actions in compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, goal setting, and feedback.
  • Support annual compensation cycles and ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Provide guidance on incentive programs tied to operational and safety performance.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and industry-specific regulations.
  • Partner with HSE teams to integrate safety culture into HR processes.
  • Maintain HR data accuracy and support reporting and analytics.
  • Lead HR components of organizational changes, including digital transformation, restructuring, and M&A.
  • Communicate changes effectively to maintain engagement and minimize disruption.
