About The Position

This HR Business Partner role blends hands-on HR operations with strategic partnership to leaders in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. The position focuses on supporting a large, structured organization by managing onboarding, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, while collaborating closely with business leaders and cross-functional HR teams. The ideal candidate brings experience from a midsize or larger company, preferably within hospitality, hotel, corporate housing, or real estate, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Hands-on experience using UKG.
  • Experience managing employee onboarding processes.
  • Experience using an HRIS to complete onboarding tasks.
  • Form I-9 and employment compliance experience.
  • Benefits enrollment experience and the ability to answer employee benefits questions.
  • Employee relations experience, including handling employee concerns and supporting resolutions.
  • Performance management experience, including supporting managers through review and feedback processes.
  • Experience handling confidential employee documentation with a high level of discretion.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
  • Proficiency in human resource management and HR operations.
  • Experience with employee benefits and benefits administration.
  • Experience with recruitment, talent acquisition, and recruiting support.
  • Experience with payroll processes.
  • Experience with project management in an HR context.
  • Experience with talent management programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in a midsize or larger company or structured organization.

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.

Responsibilities

  • Balance hands-on HR operations with true HR Business Partner responsibilities, serving as both a strategic advisor and an operational HR resource.
  • Manage end-to-end employee onboarding, including HRIS-based tasks, documentation, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring a smooth new hire experience.
  • Handle Form I-9 processes, including completion, verification, and compliance, and support remediation efforts for existing records.
  • Administer benefits enrollment processes and support employees with benefits-related questions and issues.
  • Leverage UKG and other HRIS tools to complete onboarding tasks, maintain employee records, and support HR operations.
  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns, investigating issues as needed, and promoting positive working relationships.
  • Partner with leaders on performance management, including coaching managers, supporting reviews, and reinforcing performance standards.
  • Handle confidential employee documentation with discretion and ensure secure, compliant recordkeeping.
  • Support recognition and rewards programs to enhance engagement and reinforce desired behaviors.
  • Assist with HR inbox coverage, responding to employee inquiries and routing issues appropriately.
  • Contribute to HR transformation initiatives, including HRIS implementation and process improvements, particularly around the UKG implementation and go-live.
  • Support the launch of new employment-related documents and ensure consistent communication and adoption across the organization.
  • Assist with September and other scheduled employee-related initiatives, ensuring timely execution and coordination.
  • Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to ensure alignment across the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a changing environment, adjusting to evolving business needs and HR projects.
  • Provide ongoing support to HR leadership and the HR Operations team by absorbing duties currently handled by other HR specialists as needed.
