About The Position

As Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with Reading Hospital, you will play a vital role in the development and growth of our workforce and leaders to meet the hospital’s goals and objectives. You will strategically partner with leaders on issues and initiatives influencing organizational performance and organizational capability. You will advise on workforce planning, team performance, talent management and development, and organizational change. You will advocate for employees and management with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes in alignment with organizational policies while operating within appropriate Federal, State, and local employment laws. You will lead and deliver Employee Relations activities to include investigative actions, performance counseling processes, face-to-face counseling, and coaching with employees. This position is on-site in West Reading, PA.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as HR Business Partner, Senior HR Business Partner, or HR Director in a complex environment is required.
  • Experience providing consultation to all levels of management on HR-related matters such as employee relations, employee and leadership development, and retention.
  • Experience with leadership development, conflict resolution, implementing and navigating employee engagement programs, coaching and team development.
  • Experience facilitating meetings to identify and diagnose issues within team, work processes, and/or leadership, and assisting in the development of solutions.
  • Experience conducting investigations, summarizing findings, and providing recommendations for corrective action.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to earn and maintain credibility and build effective working relationships with all levels of individuals throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues in HR to most effectively address the needs of employees and management.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task in a high sense of urgency environment.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR or related field. A combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.

  • Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
