About The Position

AlertMedia is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their growing People team in their downtown Austin headquarters. The People team provides a world-class HR experience from candidate interview stage to new hire orientation and throughout their career at AlertMedia. The HR Business Partner will partner with business leaders to develop and execute Human Resources priorities that enable business goals and enhance the employee experience. This role will collaborate with professionals in the HR, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams to deliver on People initiatives across AlertMedia. The ideal candidate will partner with business leaders, identify and drive appropriate solutions aligned with the company's culture and values.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of HRBP experience in a technology company, with majority in the software tech industry; Saas experience preferred.
  • Experience with shift based teams, engineering and leadership teams required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, rapid growth organization.
  • Advanced skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, X, etc..).
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve efficiency, enhance analysis, solve business problems, and increase productivity.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for adopting emerging AI technologies in HR are highly valued.
  • Demonstrated achievements in coaching, influencing and problem solving.
  • Strong judgment and experience coaching senior leaders.
  • Broad experience and knowledge of various aspects of human resource, including employee relations, learning, and performance.
  • Self-starter and team player, willing to jump in on all projects as needed.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding support to all employees.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Existing authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders and their leadership teams to develop department talent strategies needed to support growth.
  • Function as a consultant and counselor to key leaders and their respective organizations.
  • Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, talent review, performance management, and skills assessment and development.
  • Create, review, and analyze business metrics including retention, employee experience, performance management, and employee trends in order to recommend improvements.
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve People team processes, generate insights from workforce data, automate administrative tasks where appropriate, and identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience.
  • Work with line managers and employees to address various employee relations issues; conduct thorough investigations, mitigate risks, and provide fair and equitable best practices.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a trusted, expert HR resource for employees, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
