Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years generalist experience with progressively increasing responsibilities managing complex HR issues.
  • Possess exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication and execution skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Project management and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Previous supervisory experience with exempt and non-exempt personnel.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Human Resources designation preferred, such as CCP, CEBS, or SPHR.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with management to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives of the company.
  • Participate in all appropriate business unit meetings, events and functions (ie. regional, departmental, staff, team, training, leadership, operations, sales, events, tradeshows, and conventions).
  • Assist with succession planning, acquisition integration and change management of business units.
  • Analyze and provide relevant data by reviewing reports; budgets, sales, attrition, financials, etc.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and solutions to address intentional and tactical business needs.
  • Lead, guide and consult in the areas of developing and implementing policy and procedures, oversee and participate in processes pertaining to recruitment, retention, terminations, promotions, compensation, benefits, employee relations, team enhancements, talent management, performance, and legal compliance with state, federal and country regulations.
  • Lead HR project teams to include planning, analysis and presentation of recommendations having department or company wide implications.
  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues. Assist with team building and conflict resolution.
  • Conducts investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, benefits issues and work related disputes.
  • Supervises others by assigning/directing work; conducting employee evaluations, staff training and development, taking appropriate disciplinary/corrective actions, making hiring/termination recommendations, etc.
