About The Position

Fleet Feet's Human Resources Business Partner, Distribution & Store Support Team, plays a key role in helping our people thrive. You'll support both our Distribution Center and Store Support Team by developing high-performing team members, strengthening engagement, and partnering with leaders to align people strategies with business objectives. As a trusted advisor, you'll collaborate with operations, drive performance management, support employee relations, and promote a culture that reflects our mission and values. This role blends strategy and hands-on execution - perfect for someone who enjoys variety, impact, and collaboration across departments. Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of Human Resources experience, ideally within logistics or a distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge across HR processes: selection and employment, employee relations, learning and development, compensation, benefits, DEI, and engagement.
  • Excellent planning and project management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and coaching abilities.
  • Experience with HR systems (ATS, HRIS, performance management).
  • Skilled communicator - both written and verbal - with facilitation and presentation experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Naturally curious, investigative, and solution-oriented.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Store Support Team and Distribution Center managers.
  • Partner with leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive accountability.
  • Lead recruitment efforts for Distribution Center roles, ensuring consistency in hiring processes.
  • Collaborate across HR to implement programs and ensure best practices across all teams.
  • Support consistent onboarding, performance management, and career development initiatives.
  • Coach and hold leaders accountable for performance and growth conversations.
  • Drive employee recognition and engagement strategies that strengthen culture and retention.
  • Review engagement survey results and guide leaders on actionable steps for improvement.
  • Conduct and manage employee relations investigations with fairness and confidentiality.
  • Oversee offboarding and terminations, ensuring best practices and compliance.
  • Identify and address training and development needs across the Distribution Center.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, compliance, and HR policy interpretation.
  • Maintain alignment between policies, processes, and the Fleet Feet mission.
  • Travel up to 25% as needed to support company needs.
