About The Position

We are seeking a strategic, resolution-oriented, high-energy Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to partner with executives and senior leaders across our Illinois healthcare facilities. Region. Join a high-impact HR role where your labor relations expertise drives real influence across a multi-site healthcare system. As an HR Business Partner, you’ll partner with leadership, navigate complex union matters, and lead critical investigations that shape the employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or closely related field required.
  • 5 years’ experience in Human Resources required, with focus on employee relations and/or labor relations experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining processes.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of material with attention to detail.
  • Computer knowledge that includes Excel, Word, Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR, SPHR or relevant Human Resources certifications or advanced degree, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with HR leadership to manage day-to-day HR operations and deliver comprehensive support across the organization
  • Provides guidance on employee relations, labor relations, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Serves as a strategic advisor to hospital leadership, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals
  • Investigates employee concerns, grievances, and recommends appropriate resolutions or disciplinary actions
  • Collaborates with department leaders to foster a positive, productive, and compliant work environment
  • Manages union relationships and ensures adherence to collective bargaining agreements, including managing grievances, arbitration, contract negotiation.

  • A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $72k to $101k on an annualized basis.
