Under general direction, responsible for building and maintaining a valued business advisor relationship with assigned business area(s). Assist in the achievement of client’s organizational strategy and enhancement of operational performance by applying human resource expertise and a comprehensive understanding of the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related area required.
  • Possess the ability to establish relationships with both the client and HR servicing areas to deliver effective and timely client business solutions.
  • Strong project management skills which include issue identification, documentation, and status reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem resolution, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in current industry standard PC applications (e.g. Microsoft Office) and systems.
  • Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of broad HR experience or related leadership experience in a medium to large corporate setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of project planning and the related software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business area leadership.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of assigned business area(s) and their strategies.
  • Partner with business area leadership in the development and implementation of corporate, business area and human resources strategies.
  • Partner with business area leadership on strategic consulting, resolution, and implementation support on an array of topics including but not limited to: organizational design and effectiveness, change management, cultural management, reward and recognition, workforce planning, learning and development, recruiting and retention, and overall talent management.
  • Monitor and analyze data and trends to identify opportunities, issues, and needs that may impact business results.
  • Partner with peers, associates, and Shared Services (e.g. Compensation, Employee Benefits) to create and implement solutions that assist in the achievement of business goals and strategic objectives.
  • Implement, monitor, and measure results of broad based human resource initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of human resources functions (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Benefits, Employee/Labor relations and related HR service areas).
