The Vermont Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner or Generalist to join our team in providing HR services and support to multiple departments in the Agency of Administration (Department of Buildings and General Services, Department of Taxes, Department of Finance and Management and Department of Libraries), the Agency of Digital Services, and several smaller departments. Candidates at the HRBP III level will have experience and skills performing the above functions, in addition to experience providing guidance and assistance to supervisors on performance and conduct related issues, investigations and disciplinary process. The ideal candidate prioritizes work effectively and adapts to changing demands in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills are required to coordinate and process a large volume of work and operational functions. Working both independently and as part of a team to deliver accurate and timely work, as well as having an aptitude and interest to learn are all key to success in this position. Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required. The Department is currently supporting a hybrid telework environment. Requests to telework will be considered, with some in person work at our Montpelier office required.
