About The Position

This position will conduct objective and confidential investigations into allegations of misconduct and employee complaints such as suspected timekeeping fraud, falsification of company records, misuse of company resources, harassment, discrimination, and/or retaliation. Ensuring and verification that deficiencies are corrected. This role Interprets, enforces and certifies ethics and compliance policies, procedures, and practices. Coordinating information gathering and reporting results with appropriate parties (i.e. Security, Law, Quality, etc.) This position seeks an impartial, confidential review and ensures alignment with legal ethical standards of the organization. This position will develop internal communications of fact gathering. In addition, they will develop training centered on employee ethics discussions that are results from identified repetitive departmental areas of concern. Maintains current knowledge of various rules, regulations, and industry guidance that impact the company's ethics and compliance program including federal and state government. This position upholds the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and is an essential part of enforcing the integrity of the program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 4 year of relevant professional experience
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of employment law, EEO regulation, retaliation concerns, ADA, harassment, discrimination and workplace civility standards.
  • Strong background in interviewing and investigative techniques with an ability to access credibility while corroborating with evidence.
  • Experience writing and drafting investigation finding reports, executive case summaries and findings memos.
  • Strong conflict management and emotional intelligence skills.
  • Experience identifying trends, systemic risks or culture concerns from investigation data.
