About The Position

The Benefits Consultant develops, manages, and administers system-wide benefit programs, policies, and procedures. The role ensures compliance with federal and state legal regulations and provides guidance as an internal consultant to management, staff, and employees’ family members across the system. The position is a full-time, day-shift role (8 a.m.–5 p.m.) at the INTEGRIS Health Corporate Office in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The position requires operating an INTEGRIS-owned or personal vehicle.

Requirements

Knowledge of benefits regulations, including ERISA, IRS, DOL, FMLA, and ADA, and flexible benefits, defined contribution, and defined benefit plans.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and database programs.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Two years of human resources and/or benefits experience.
Ability to frequently resolve conflict in controversial situations and handle pressure to meet deadlines.
Current Oklahoma State Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the employer’s insurance carrier, because the job requires operating an INTEGRIS-owned or personal vehicle.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in business or Human Resource Management.
Experience in a hospital or other health care organization.

Responsibilities

Develop and administer system benefit programs, policies, and procedures to ensure programs and administration are competitive and cost-effective.
Provide guidance and counsel to management on benefits issues and best practices for the system.
Interpret policies and procedures, determine eligibility, and communicate information to employees and, where appropriate, their family members.
Monitor program quality, customer service effectiveness and experience, and costs; make recommendations for quality improvements.
Prepare and disseminate communications to the organization about relevant benefits issues.
Conduct orientations, training, and employee and support-staff enrollments or re-enrollments.
Monitor benefit programs for compliance with regulatory agencies.
