Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective collaborative work relationships.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management, detail oriented, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Possess the ability and willingness to learn other software systems quickly.
  • Flexible schedule when required to meet production needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in inventory management, leading teams, process improvement activities, and safety protocols.
  • Previous Human Resources experience.

Responsibilities

  • Organize the HR storage rooms for audit preparation purposes and filing of documents as necessary.
  • Answer the main external Kawneer telephone line, re-directing calls to appropriate employees and managers, and taking information down when appropriate.
  • Run HR reports for the department as appropriate.
  • Responsible for probation evaluation, implementation, and disciplinary action.
  • Respond to employee questions relative to local policies/procedures.
  • Recruiting – tasks such as applicant review, sending letters to candidates, scheduling of tests and interviews, facilitating tour sessions, extending job offers, scheduling physicals and coordinating the details for HR/Orientation.
  • Prepare all necessary paperwork for new hires including collecting details of crew assignment, job title, pay grade, etc.
  • Support Human Resource Business Partners.
  • Oracle Procurement system (e.g. enter Purchase orders maintained by HR, receiving of invoices for payment).
