Waikiki Health is seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant Pay rate for this role - $20-25/hr DOE The HR Assistant is responsible for day-to-day HR activities throughout the agency. A primary responsibility of this position is to protect and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of highly sensitive personnel information.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • At least one year of Clerical/Administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated relevant work experience may be an appropriate substitute for education requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with hiring activities such as checking references, running background checks for new employees (OIG, Sex Offender, GSA, E-Crim).
  • Responsible for new hire and Job Training Participants orientations.
  • Organize and maintain HR records such as personnel files (current and termination), I-9 files, leave records, EEO, employee training records, etc.
  • Coordinates employee recruitment and hiring activities including advertising, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and checking references.
  • Organizes and maintains Employee Health records; verifies new hire/interns/residents/temps/contractors health clearance prior to start date and annually.
  • Other duties as assigned
