About The Position

Freyssinet USA, a specialized civil engineering contractor known for delivering innovative solutions in infrastructure maintenance, repair, and strengthening, is seeking a highly organized and detail oriented HR Administrator to support our growing Human Resources team. This role is essential to ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations, requiring an individual with strong administrative skills, exceptional accuracy, and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism. The HR Administrator will play a key role in maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding and documentation, and supporting daily HR processes to uphold Freyssinet’s commitment to efficiency, compliance, and employee service excellence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of administrative or clerical experience (HR experience preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an HR department or with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll)
  • Knowledge of basic HR practices, policies, and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Administrative & Clerical Support Maintain and update employee files, personnel records, and HR databases.
  • Assist with preparation of HR documents such as offer letters, new hire packets, and employment verification letters.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems.
  • Provide general administrative support including scanning, copying, and routing documents.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding Support Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communication.
  • Support new hire onboarding by preparing welcome materials, collecting required documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry in HRIS systems.
  • Help process employee separations, including documentation, system updates, and file closure.
  • HR Operations Enter and maintain employee data in HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
  • Support benefits administration tasks such as distributing forms or tracking responses.
  • Assist with compliance tasks, including I 9 verification and audits.
  • Help coordinate HR related events, trainings, and employee engagement activities.
  • Customer Service Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, routing inquiries to the appropriate HR staff member.
  • Provide timely, professional, and accurate support to employees and managers.
