This role provides essential support for HQ NMCI requirements, focusing on network and information systems. The position involves working closely with various levels of personnel in IT operations and technical aspects of systems, requiring strong communication and computer proficiency. Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience substantially satisfying working with network and information systems support.
  • Five (5) years of experience working with NMCI (or equivalent) systems (Hewlett Packard Service Manager (HPSM), NMCI Navy Enterprise Tool (NET), and Seat Resource Management (SRM)).
  • Experience with account creation and oversight of the Move/Add/Change (MAC) process.
  • Experience supporting the NMCI contract.
  • Strong oral and writing skills.
  • Overall computer proficiency including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships and effectively communicate with senior management, project managers, and IT operations staff.
  • Associate degree from an accredited college/university (or equivalent relevant professional work experience).
  • Following certifications to comply with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570.01-M IAT Level II Baseline Certification requirements: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP.
  • Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Providing network and information systems support similar to functions described under this functional support area.
  • Having knowledge and understanding of applicable technical concepts and practices.
  • Working with NMCI (or equivalent) systems including Hewlett Packard Service Manager (HPSM), NMCI Navy Enterprise Tool (NET), and Seat Resource Management (SRM).
  • Account creation and oversight of the Move/Add/Change (MAC) process.
  • Supporting the NMCI contract.
