About The Position

T-Rex is looking for a fully cleared HPC Systems Engineer 3 to work on a program in the Fort Meade, Maryland area in support of the Intelligence Community. This role involves analyzing user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. The engineer will analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities, guiding users in formulating requirements, advising on alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies. This position provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, incorporating new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations, and developing technical documentation. The role also includes developing system architecture and system design documentation, guiding system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. The engineer will interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts, holding ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.

Requirements

A High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general system engineering experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience.
A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university required plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university required plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with FSP security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
