About The Position

As the System Administrator, you'll be supporting High Performance Computing sustainment across multi-vendor servers, HPC clusters, and SPD servers. Responsibilities include IT system administration, Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, daily operations, troubleshooting, monitoring, OS and network configuration, system optimization, and capacity planning.

Requirements

Three (3) years' experience
Bachelors in Technical discipline, or an additional 5 years' experience
Requires DoD 8570 IAT II certification (Security +)
Top Secret clearance
Favorable completion of a polygraph
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence

Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systems.
Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client, server, storage, network, and mobile devices.
Assist users with accessing and using IT systems.
Provide Tier 1 Help Desk problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
Provide Tier 2 escalation support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
Escalate issues and communicate status updates to agency management and internal customers.
Configure and manage Linux, Unix, Windows, and other applicable operating systems.
Install and load operating system software.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and configure network components.
Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization.
Perform system capacity analysis and planning.
