Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI or Full Scope Polygraph
• Proven software development experience in C, C++, Fortran, Python, or similar languages
• Proficient with Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Korn shell, Python)
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges and debug software
• Excellent communication skills for effective user support and collaboration

Nice To Haves

• Experience with HPC or scientific computing
• Modeling and simulation background
• GPU programming (CUDA/OpenCL)
• AI/ML exposure
• Performance tuning and optimization expertise
• Prior experience supporting technical users or researchers

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with users to optimize workflows and maximize use of advanced computing resources
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software performance issues in a Linux-based HPC environment
• Develop, maintain, and enhance codebases in C, C++, Fortran, Python, and scripting languages
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to support modeling, simulation, and scientific computing initiatives
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to debug and improve large-scale computing applications
