About The Position

Wipro Limited is seeking an HPC / Kubernetes Engineer for a 100% US remote role focused on operating large-scale, multi-cloud Kubernetes platform infrastructure. The position is Kubernetes-heavy, with responsibility for platform stability and preventing costly GPU-hour losses caused by misconfigurations or failed upgrades. Clusters are large enough that novel failure modes are routine. The engineer will operate Kubernetes platforms across multiple providers, provision HPC infrastructure through CI/CD, and manage GPU compute scheduling for training and inference workloads. The role also includes defining reliability objectives, building monitoring and alerting, responding to severity escalations, documenting post-incident reviews, and coordinating with Networking, Storage, Security, and AI/ML platform teams. The expected compensation range is $100,000 to $220,000. Final compensation depends on factors including geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (including sick leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options. Employment in some roles may be conditioned on successful completion of a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state law.
