About The Position

Join us as an HPC Engineering Intern (DevOps) and get hands‑on with the infrastructure that powers large‑scale computing: you’ll help automate and harden cluster provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible and container platforms, build and extend monitoring and alerting dashboards to surface performance and health metrics, write and maintain clear runbooks and documentation, and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot real production problems—all while receiving mentorship, learning industry‑grade tooling, and building tangible projects for your resume.

Responsibilities

  • Convert legacy scripts into Ansible playbooks to help move our infrastructure toward Infrastructure as Code.
  • Create custom dashboards in Datadog that surface high‑level system health and daily highlights.
  • Update and improve operational procedures and runbooks so daily tasks are clear, accurate, and easy to follow.
  • Validate and troubleshoot code and automation to ensure reliable operation of HPC workflows and AI pipelines.
  • Assist with integrating AI algorithms into existing systems and CI/CD pipelines for scientific and production workloads.
  • Work closely with engineers, receive mentorship, and document your work so others can reproduce and build on it.
