About The Position

This role is responsible for leading and advising on critical business initiatives, overseeing analysts across finance sub-functions and geographies/organizations. The role is responsible for driving financial management by analyzing, reporting, and reconciling financial and operational results. The role drives process improvements, provides expert counsel, represents the business unit/organization, and mentors lower-level employees, contributing to operational and strategic success. The position oversees MEC and Flash processes and provides reporting and analytics leadership to both the BU and Category. Partners with the business and finance leadership to drive business analytics and reporting cross functionally across BU Finance, category, FP&A , and regions.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall flash and close process
  • Drive content preparations relating to MEC and Flash reporting at an GBU and category level
  • Support SBTN and QBR processes
  • Own major reporting tools and any other tool required to tell the overall financial story
  • Own the creation and maintenance of overall FP&A calendar Outlook, Flash, SBTN, QBR, etc
  • Own maintenance of Reporting SharePoint as appropriate
  • Performs highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or business, utilizing a unique understanding of the business to achieve objectives effectively.
  • Drives process improvements and policy development initiatives that impact the function globally.
  • Provides information and counsel in the areas of controls, budgeting, and planning, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans and strategies.
  • Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes.
  • Contributes innovative ideas and may lead large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees, thus ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.
