About The Position
We are seeking experienced caregivers who are confident using manual Hoyer lifts and assisting clients with limited mobility. This is a hands-on caregiving role providing one-on-one support to seniors.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on Hoyer lift experience required
- 1-3 years of professional caregiving experience
- Experience with gait belt transfers
- Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility needs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Age 21+ for company insurance requirements
- Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic
Responsibilities
- Perform safe Hoyer lift transfers and mobility assistance
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other ADLs
- Use gait belts and proper transfer techniques
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Complete light housekeeping and laundry
- Transport clients to appointments and errands when required
