About The Position

FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Knox County, Texas, and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to earn supplemental or full-time income on a flexible schedule. As a Field Inspector, you will conduct brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions. The position emphasizes autonomy, allowing you to manage your own routing, schedule, and territory. Standard inspections are designed for speed, typically requiring only 5-6 minutes on-site. You will determine property occupancy status, capture photos, and submit reports using mobile applications, while maintaining reliability regarding territory coverage and deadlines. This role involves significant driving in a rural county with longer distances between stops, making a fuel-efficient vehicle and comfort with country roads valuable.

Requirements

• Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
• Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.
