About The Position

FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Smyth County, Virginia, and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to earn supplemental or full-time income on a flexible schedule. The opportunity involves performing residential occupancy verifications, which are brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions. Inspectors will have autonomy in managing their own routing, schedule, and territory. Standard inspections are designed for speed, typically requiring only 5–6 minutes on-site. The role offers stable, month-to-month volume in the assigned county. This role requires spending extended periods of time driving and making numerous stops throughout the day in the assigned territory, which covers a spacious rural county with longer drives between stops. A fuel-efficient vehicle and comfort with country roads are especially valuable.

Requirements
