About The Position

Unity House of Troy is currently seeking a Housing Liaison to join our Domestic Violence Housing Support Services Program. This role provides assistance and case management services to domestic violence victims residing in our permanent housing program. The position involves providing emotional support, crisis intervention, and safety planning, as well as making referrals and linkages to supportive services. The Housing Liaison will also complete contract and/or regulatory compliance activities and participate in a rotating on-call system that requires some nights and weekends. A key aspect of this role is to promote a work culture of inclusion and belonging.

Requirements

High School or GED required with at least 3 years of related experience in the human services and/or domestic violence fields.
Valid and clean NYS driver’s license.
Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred; 2 or more years of related experience.
Familiarity with HUD, federal and state housing regulations preferred but not required.
Bi-Lingual a great asset!
