The Housing Inspector is responsible for completing residential housing inspections for units receiving assistance through HOM, Inc. and partner housing agencies. This position ensures units meet applicable HUD inspection requirements, program standards, and internal compliance expectations. The Housing Inspector plays an important role in supporting safe, decent, and affordable housing opportunities for program participants by identifying inspection concerns, documenting results, communicating required repairs, and supporting timely resolution of inspection-related housing issues. The Housing Inspector is a full-time, non-exempt position that combines field-based and on-site work responsibilities. This role regularly conducts inspections and home visits throughout the community while also completing documentation, reporting, scheduling, and other administrative duties from a HOM office location.
