The Housing Intake and Compliance Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for housing referrals, eligibility determination, intake coordination, and compliance review for RS EDEN Supportive Housing programs. This position facilitates participant access to housing by ensuring service eligibility, property eligibility, and funding requirements are met in accordance with agency, program, and regulatory standards. The Housing Intake and Compliance Specialist works closely with Coordinated Entry, referral partners, property management staff, and internal program teams to maintain efficient and compliant intake processes, manage waitlists and referrals, coordinate applicant screenings, and support housing placement efforts. The position plays a critical role in ensuring housing vacancies are filled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with program requirements. Day-to-day success in this mobile role is driven by strong attention to detail, organization, communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while moving between housing locations and community-based settings. The Housing Intake and Compliance Specialist must be able to balance participant-centered engagement with accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and timely completion of eligibility processes. The position requires professionalism, flexibility, sound judgment, cultural responsiveness, and the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
