Housing Clinician (Evenings)
About The Position
Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a Clinician to provide recovery-oriented, trauma-informed mental health services to individuals involved in housing programs. This role supports consumers in achieving stability, wellness, and independence through individualized, consumer-driven services delivered in both office and community-based settings. The Housing Clinician plays a critical role in assessments, treatment planning, service delivery, and coordination with community and internal partners, particularly those supporting housing stability and substance use recovery. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, and five years’ social service or peer experience; OR Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS); OR a bachelor’s degree.
- Valid driver’s license and private automobile insurance.
- Basic computer proficiency in Outlook, MS Word, EMR.

Responsibilities
- Complete essential paperwork, including assessments and recovery plans, to ensure clients receive optimal care.
- Ensure all treatment plans and assessments are completed by their due dates to prevent service gaps.
- Complete approximately 80% of progress notes within two days of client meetings for accurate and up-to-date records.
- Provide individualized support tailored to each client's unique recovery and safety goals.
- Manage a consistent schedule to meet productivity goals while ensuring each client receives adequate attention.
- Handle administrative tasks such as obtaining service approvals and checking housing referrals to facilitate client access to necessary resources.
- Utilize a trauma-informed approach, emphasizing hope, respect, and empowerment to foster client connection and support.
- Employ positive, recovery-focused language in all written documentation and client interactions.
- Act as a liaison, connecting clients to essential resources including housing and substance use treatment.
- Collaborate closely with team members and the client's support network to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Attend regular meetings for brainstorming, mutual support, and to pursue leadership opportunities.
- Apply evidence-based methods in therapy sessions with individuals, families, or groups.
- Deliver services in community settings or environments where clients feel most comfortable whenever feasible.
- Complete regular trainings, earn CEUs, and participate in clinical supervision to maintain and enhance skills.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality to protect clients' personal information.
