About The Position

FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time. The Enclosure Assembler is responsible for assembling precision aluminum housing components into fully completed enclosure units. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the safe handling and movement of parts, panels, and heavy frames throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to use hand tools associated with fabrication and assembly
  • Ability to solve basic mathematical equations
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Detail-oriented with good eye/hand coordination
  • Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
  • Commitment to safe work practices and proper use of PPE
  • Completion of orientation and safety training for operational equipment
  • Successful completion of background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Adherence to the 90-day probation period and continuous training plan

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a formal program or one to two years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Square up and assemble various shapes of enclosure components
  • Read and interpret drawings, prints, and channel detailing
  • Use basic hand tools including wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, and tape measures
  • Read a tape measure to verify measurements and ensure proper fitment
  • Perform installation techniques related to construction, framing, drywall, and hardware installation
  • Safely move parts and heavy frames on and off machinery and throughout the facility
  • Meet agreed-upon goals and production objectives in a timely manner
  • Work well with others to support team and production goals
  • Maintain safety and environmental health within the facility
  • Work safely and use required PPE for all workplace tasks
