About The Position

The ideal candidate maintains guest hallways, rooms, service landings, and storage areas with linen and supplies. This role involves a variety of essential functions to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of guest areas.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly in English with guests and other associates as is necessary to effectively work within the department.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop and reach on a continuous basis up to an 8-hour shift.
• Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year cleaning experience in housekeeping or janitorial service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service closets and room attendants‘ carts with linen and supplies.
• Remove soiled items from vacant dirty rooms and room attendant carts.
• Replace hangers and robes in guest rooms.
• Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Clean / vacuum / dust guest hallways.
• Deep clean rooms.
• Prepare VIP arrivals.
• Turn in lost and found items.
• Assist guest and members in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain equipment and report problems or service needs to supervisors.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors/ managers.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Assist in other areas assigned by manager.
• Move furniture when requested by manager.
• Report safety concerns to manager.
