About The Position
The Houseperson is responsible for assisting Guestroom Attendants to ensure that assigned areas are kept clean and neat. This includes cleaning ash urns, dusting lamps, mirrors, and pictures, and mopping floors. The role also involves delivering requested items to guest rooms, emptying trash and linen from carts, maintaining inventory levels, and stocking supplies. Additionally, the Houseperson must follow specific procedures for flood response, safety, general cleaning, room pulling, and mattress flipping. They are also responsible for cleaning restrooms, vacuuming halls and lobbies, and cleaning stairwells and lockers.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Experience in a similar resort setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensure that assigned areas are kept clean and neat
- Clean ash urns constantly, clean and dust lamps, mirrors, pictures, etc.; mop and clean all marble or tile floors in assigned area
- Deliver requested items, such as refrigerators, pillows, rollway's, cribs, etc., to guest rooms
- Empty all trash and linen from the Guest Room Attendants’ carts as needed
- Maintain inventory levels, deliver supplies to assigned lockers, and stock it
- Follow Quick Flood Response procedures, safety procedures, general clean, pull room procedures, and quarterly mattress-flipping procedure
- Clean restrooms in assigned areas, vacuum all halls, lobbies, and edges; clean all hall railings, marks on wallpaper, stairwells, and lockers
