The Houseperson is responsible for stocking linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants, delivering supplies directly to room attendants, and emptying room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash. This role involves anticipating guest needs, responding promptly, and acknowledging all guest service requests. The Houseperson will monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas, including guestroom floors, hallways, public areas, stairwells, linen closets, vending areas, and foyers. They will use correct cleaning chemicals according to regulations, strip and service assigned guest rooms/floors, and remove/replace soiled and clean terry and linen. Responsibilities also include cleaning ice machines, transporting cleaning supplies and linens, replacing guestroom items, removing trash and debris, cleaning windows, moving furniture, completing deep cleaning projects, and refurnishing rooms with supplies. The Houseperson will also turn over lost and found items, follow service standards and safety procedures, work cohesively with other departments, adhere to policies, and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
