The Housekeeping Houseperson supports the housekeeping team by maintaining guest hallways, public spaces, and supply areas while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This role is responsible for stocking housekeeping carts, replenishing amenities, and assisting with special projects to create a welcoming environment for every guest. The Houseperson also helps ensure smooth operations by responding promptly to requests from both guests and team members.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping or related hospitality experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow directions accurately.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable, positive attitude, and dedicated to providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Bending, stooping, and reaching frequently.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain guest hallways, public spaces, and service areas to the highest cleanliness standards.
  • Stock housekeeping carts with linens, towels, and supplies to support daily operations.
  • Replenish guest room amenities as needed with care and attention to detail.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments to maintain hotel quality.
  • Follow all company, OSHA, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Respond to guest and team member requests in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Support housekeeping team members as needed to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties or adjustments as directed based on business needs.
