About The Position

The Houseperson assists the housekeeping department by maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and common areas. The role includes preparing and delivering supplies, supporting housekeepers, maintaining housekeeping closets and golf carts, and keeping guest-room pantry items stocked. The position pays $16.00 per hour and is located at Blackberry Mountain in Walland, Tennessee.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members.
Basic knowledge and understanding of math.
Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals.
Ability to stand throughout the day and perform physically demanding work involving frequent movement and lifting.
Ability to get on hands and knees to clean.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart.
Ability to work around cleaning supplies and chemicals.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Some cleaning experience preferred.
Ability to be thorough while cleaning.

Responsibilities

Deep clean rooms as needed.
Deliver clean linen and supplies to housekeepers when needed.
Remove soiled linen and trash from housekeepers when needed.
Load supplies for the day.
Attend the morning line-up to receive room assignments.
Restock housekeeping closets throughout the property with amenities and linens as necessary.
Clean golf carts at the end of the shift and plug them into chargers for the next shift.
Keep guest-room pantry items stocked and account for pantry alcohol sales.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
Work effectively with team members and managers and interact with guests.
