Under direction of the Lead Houseperson and Section Supervisors, cleans assigned guest and employee areas of hotel, as well as assisting Guest Room Attendants. Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning various hotel areas such as hallways, lobby, service and guest elevator tracks, vending areas, storage and supply areas, emergency stairwells, and exit areas. The role also involves maintaining ash urns, assisting with minor maintenance like changing light bulbs and unplugging toilets, reporting serious problems, responding to guest requests, collecting soiled linen and trash, stocking and maintaining supply rooms, assisting Guest Room Attendants, cleaning guest room glasses, performing heavy duty maintenance, removing room service dishes, checking lamps and fixtures, understanding and following procedures, completing training, attending meetings, and exemplifying core values, DEI culture, and performing other job-related duties.
