About The Position

The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This role involves ensuring that all areas are kept to high standards of hygiene and presentation, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. The position requires a proactive approach to tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
  • Customer service mindset with a friendly and helpful attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical stamina, including the ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, squat, and be on feet for the entire shift.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Clean guest rooms and public areas, ensuring beds are made, bathrooms are sparkling, and no dust is present.
  • Restock towels, toiletries, and amenities in guest rooms.
  • Sort laundry and operate laundry machines safely.
  • Handle linen with care.
  • Keep the work cart and closets organized.
  • Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as needed.
  • Participate in team training when required.
