About The Position

Join our company as a full-time Houseperson in our hotel housekeeping team! Experience is preferred but we're willing to train the right candidate. A flexible schedule and weekend availability is required. Due West Tavern and Market is a sophisticated modern tavern housed in a cozily refurbished, circa-1865 building. Due West Tavern houses a vibrant, recently remodeled market, Due West Market, featuring house-baked items and signature on-the-go picnic staples.

Requirements

• Guest and customer service focused
• Friendly and welcoming demeanor when dealing with guests and/or co-workers
• Excellent attendance
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques
• Awareness of safety precautions for working with cleaning agents
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
• Experience working in hotel housekeeping
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the common areas of the hotel such as the lobby, hallways and activity areas like the pool, spa, fitness center and laundry rooms.
• Supports and assists housekeeping team members in their daily duties including turndown.
