The Houseperson is primarily responsible for assisting the Guestroom Attendants. This role ensures that assigned areas are kept clean and neat, including cleaning ash urns, dusting lamps, mirrors, and pictures. The Houseperson also mops and cleans marble or tile floors, delivers requested items to guest rooms, and empties trash and linen from carts. Maintaining inventory levels, stocking assigned lockers, and following specific procedures for flood response, safety, general cleaning, room pulling, and mattress flipping are also key duties. Additionally, this role involves cleaning restrooms, vacuuming halls and edges, and cleaning hall railings, wallpaper marks, stairwells, and lockers.
