About The Position

The Hilton Milwaukee is seeking a dedicated Houseperson to join their dynamic team. This role involves cleaning, maintaining, and supplying assigned areas of the hotel. It is a great position for a candidate with little to no experience. The Hilton Milwaukee is a historic gem, built in 1927, offering 554 guest rooms and over 34,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel has recently completed a $40 million renovation, enhancing its guest rooms, event spaces, and grand lobby. It is connected to the newly expanded Baird Center and is known for its commitment to innovation, exceptional service, and timeless style, maintaining its reputation as Milwaukee’s premier meeting and convention destination.

Requirements

Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner.
Basic English communication is preferred.
Physical stamina to complete repetitive manual labor tasks.
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Weekend availability (required)

Responsibilities

Clean all assigned areas.
Pick up and deliver supplies and other items upon request.
Remove all trash and linen from room attendant carts throughout the day.
Stock all linen closets with proper inventory.
Assist with team projects and perform additional assigned duties as needed.
