About The Position

As a Houseperson, you play a key support role in our housekeeping team by ensuring public areas are clean and well-stocked, assisting Room Attendants with supplies and linens, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of housekeeping areas. You help create a welcoming, safe, and pristine environment for both guests and team members.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required — we’re happy to train the right person!
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs throughout shift.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and refresh guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Restock amenities, linens, and towels according to hotel standards.
• Ensure all rooms meet AC Hotel brand cleanliness expectations before guest arrival.
• Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the appropriate department.
• Respond to guest requests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning supplies.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner.
