About The Position

Provides exceptional guest service by maintaining and cleaning assigned public areas and guest rooms. This role is responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and order throughout the resort, adhering to the We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate in English (read, write, speak).
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, lift, and/or reach for most of the day.
• Ability to work in moderately noisy work environments for long periods and communicate effectively in this environment.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on occasion.
• Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 100 pounds.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Six months to one year of related housekeeping experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bi-lingual a plus
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans windows, ice machines, vending machines, stairwells, elevators, and elevator tracks daily.
• Sweeps and mops floors and vacuums corridor carpets by the assigned time.
• Cleans linen lockers, organizes linen, and stocks lockers with linens and supplies.
• Cleans assigned guest rooms, including moving and cleaning behind furniture, washing windows, tracks, and screens, cleaning vents, lighting, chandeliers, and lamps, vacuuming drapes and upholstered furniture, and spot cleaning carpets and furniture.
• Picks up trash and linens from Room Attendants' carts.
• Transports soiled linens to the laundry area.
• Cleans and dusts hallway lamps, baseboards, elevators, and door frames.
• Secures all equipment and returns passkey and radio to the housekeeping office at the end of the shift.
• Reports safety hazards and maintenance problems to the housekeeping office promptly.
• Assists Room Attendants in moving furniture in guest rooms.
• Wears personal protective equipment such as a safety belt when lifting or moving heavy equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
