About The Position

Jonti-Craft is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to perform housekeeping duties across its buildings. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided. The role requires a strong work ethic, communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required. The employee must be able to speak, read, and write English understandably for safety purposes. Presence in the workplace is an essential function of the job. The work takes place in an indoor wood-manufacturing environment. Conditions may include loud noise, dust, aromas, vibration, moving mechanical parts and vehicles, and heat. Temperatures vary with outdoor conditions, and some shop areas may be hot or cold. The position is physically demanding and involves standing for extended periods, frequent walking, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and pushing or pulling up to 150 pounds. Duties may require reaching, grasping, wrist movement, bending, and twisting. Responsibilities

Clean plant areas, including emptying office trash cans, vacuuming, and dusting.
Operate an industrial sweeper.
Pick up paper and garbage in work areas.
Assist in any Jonti-Craft building as needed.
Clean men's and women's bathrooms.
Work with the Office Manager to determine which building areas require focus.
Notify appropriate personnel when recycling needs to be picked up.
Perform other duties as assigned.
