Housekeeping 7a-3p Full Time
About The Position
This is a full-time Housekeeping position with a shift from 7 AM to 3 PM. The role involves assisting in keeping the facility and residents clean and safe, as assigned by the Environmental Manager. Environmental Aides must be available to work in either laundry or housekeeping departments, and must be available to work any shift and area of the facility as directed. Proficiency in cleaning and disinfecting procedures and products is required, as is proficiency in cleaning resident clothing and facility linens. Responsibilities also include labeling cleaning products, ensuring MSDS sheets are available, answering resident call lights and alarms, and attending necessary training sessions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in the procedures and products used for the disinfecting and cleaning of the facility.
- Proficiency in the procedures and products used to clean resident clothing and facility linens.
- Ability to label all cleaning products.
- Ability to ensure MSDS sheets are available.
- Ability to answer resident call lights and alarms.
- Ability to assess situations and assist residents if possible.
- Ability to keep residents safe and leave call lights on until nursing staff arrives if unable to assist.
- Willingness to attend training sessions.
