About The Position

Team members in the housekeeping department are responsible for attending to our facility with integrity and attention to detail. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility, including restrooms, floors, windows, and general areas. The position requires the ability to work with various cleaning solutions and equipment, and to handle tasks such as trash removal and minor equipment repairs.

Requirements

Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills.
Five years of industrial refrigeration experience
Requires the ability to make decisions and remain calm under high stress situations.
Must be able to communicate with all level of employees as well as outside vendors and government agencies
Excellent problem solving skills are required
High degree of attention to detail - Advanced
Excellent Communications skills as frequent communication is required - Advanced
Basic PC skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in Plant Housekeeping preferred

Responsibilities

Supports Allen Harim’s vision, mission and values
Responsible for restocking restroom supplies and ensuring all cleaning supplies are stored properly
Inspects equipment for cleanliness and repair and personally makes minor repairs.
Steam-clean carpets.
Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
Mix various cleaning agents.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
Apply wax to coat floors and buff.
Apply sealant to floors.
Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
Responsible for removing trash from facility
Other assignments as needed
