About The Position

Performs general cleaning of all spaces and common areas. This role involves cleaning and restocking rooms with supplies, performing general housekeeping tasks, and adhering to safety precautions. The individual will also report damages or problems to management and maintenance, and demonstrate exceptional character in their job duties.

• Be on time and in prescribed Club uniform at all times
• Perform majority of work in a standing position with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and twisting
• Carry, push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds several times per shift; up to 10 pounds frequently per shift
• Work in wet, humid environment and walk on wet surfaces
• Ability to use a step ladder and climb stairs (1 story) regularly
• Operate (push and pull) a commercial vacuum cleaner

• Relevant customer service or custodial experience in an upscale hotel or country club setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning of all spaces and common areas.
• Clean and restock rooms with supplies such as tissue, toilet paper, towels, soap, etc.
• Perform general housekeeping such as vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, sweeping, polishing, dusting, emptying wastebaskets, etc.
• Follow safety precautions such as handling and using cleaning supplies for their intended purpose, storing chemical and cleaning supplies in appropriate locations with correct labeling, and operating equipment according to manufacturer's specifications
• Report damages or problems to management and maintenance
• Demonstrate exceptional character in the performance of job duties--honest, energetic, trustworthy, etc.
• Perform other duties as requested or required
