About The Position
Cleans guest rooms according to the “Once a Round” procedure in the amount of time set up in labor standards. Makes beds according to standards with fresh sheets and pillowcases. Picks up debris from the floor, vacuums floors and removes, as well as empties trash in wastebaskets. Cleans mirrors and shelves, wipes doors, doorframes, and furniture. Dusts light fixtures, windowsills, baseboards, and picture frames. Arranges furniture properly. Cleans bathrooms, scrubs basins, tubs, toilets, and tile floor with appropriate chemical solutions and rags in accordance with Hamister Hospitality policy. Replenishes room supplies in proper quantity and location.

- Ability to clean guest rooms according to procedure and labor standards.
- Ability to make beds with fresh sheets and pillowcases.
- Ability to pick up debris, vacuum floors, and empty trash.
- Ability to clean mirrors, shelves, doors, doorframes, and furniture.
- Ability to dust light fixtures, windowsills, baseboards, and picture frames.
- Ability to arrange furniture properly.
- Ability to clean bathrooms, including scrubbing basins, tubs, toilets, and tile floors with appropriate chemicals and rags.
- Ability to replenish room supplies.
- Ability to report room status (vacated, cleaned, occupied) to management.
- Ability to check and report deficiencies in heating/cooling systems, televisions, radios, clocks, and replace light bulbs.
Responsibilities

- Reports to the Executive Housekeeper or the Assistant Executive Housekeeper all vacated and cleaned rooms, occupied and cleaned rooms.
- Checks heating and cooling system as appropriate for the time of year, televisions, radios, clocks, and all lights in all areas of the bathroom and guest room.
- Reports all deficiencies in operation of heating and cooling systems, televisions, radios, clocks, and replaces light bulbs as needed.
