About The Position

Envision Unlimited is currently hiring part-time Housekeeping staff. The role is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the site to ensure that the site is a clean and welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Reliable transportation to engage in weekly travel for the role.
  • High School or GED a plus
  • 2 years’ work experience prefered

Responsibilities

  • Keeping building and surrounding area neat, clean and free of observable safety hazards at all times.
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing restrooms and program spaces.
  • Replenishing soap and paper supplies as needed.
  • Sweeping and vacuuming carpets and floors on a daily basis.
  • Emptying waste cans, recycle bins, and other trash receptacles on a daily basis.
  • Cleaning woodwork, walls, and windows using common household equipment and cleaning products.
  • Sweeping sidewalks and entrance areas in the front, back and sides of the building on a daily basis, weather permitting.
  • Keeping equipment and supplies in order and requesting re-supply when needed.
  • Completing grounds keeping requests per supervisor and/or division director.
  • Attending all required agency training, as well as scheduled outside training when available.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor in dress and conduct during all programmatic and work-related events and activities.
  • Maintaining attendance and punctuality in accordance with agency policies.
  • Responding sensitively to the diverse service populations of the agency, including all persons with disabilities and/or mental health issues.
  • Promptly reporting all hazardous or unsafe building conditions to department supervisors, completing necessary documentation when requested.
  • Attending departmental/division team meetings as scheduled.
  • Attending individual supervision as scheduled to promote performance improvement and professional development.
  • Accepting and performing additional duties as assigned by Site Operations Manager and/or division director.
  • Performing duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the agency mission and all administrative policies and procedures.
